Our Lhasa-Everest Base Camp tour is our most popular itinerary, a once-in-a-lifetime journey to see Mount Everest, the world’s highest summit at 8,848m. Discover Lhasa’s cultural treasures, sacred Yamdrok Lake, glittering Karola Glacier, Gyantse’s Kumbum Stupa and Shigatse’s Tashilhunpo Monastery, with spectacular snow mountain views along the road to EBC. Visit Rongbuk Monastery, the world’s highest monastery, and overnight at 5,200m. Subject to weather, you can admire incredible sunsets and glorious sunrises before returning to Lhasa.

| 1▼ | Arrive in Lhasa (3650m) | Taking a flight into Tibet will give you a panorama of the snowy Himalaya Mountains Or 1-2 days of train riding over the high plateau by crossing Tanggula Mountains with beautiful sceneries along the way. Once you arrive, our local Tibetan tour guide and driver will greet you at Lhasa Airport/Railway Station to transfer you to the hotel. From the airport to downtown Lhasa, it takes about 1 hour; from Lhasa Railway Station, about 20 minutes. After being transferred to the hotel, you will be free to wander around the city on your own for the rest of the day but try not to overtax yourself.
